okay, since i'm pulling the head on my six ma±ana, maybe there are some mods that i can have done to it to improve flow or whatnot. since machine work is so cheap here....why not? any suggestions? rob

I doubt you would see any gains at all from messing with the head at this stage.
Maybe if you did the intake and exhaust and then a GREAT job on the head with a 270*-280* cam you would find some good gain... But one without the other is pretty useless. Especially doing the head first.
I'd start with a cam and timing setup and then work up to the the head job.
