Anyone have any information on the 22R Pace Setter header? They're on ebay for $200. I'm not sure what shipping is but regardless, they're $100 cheaper than LC Engineering's or Downey's header.

buy the quality set....

bascially you pay for what you get. I went thru 2 sets on my Probe GT before I was able to make one work. Pacesetters are made in Mexico with cheap steel, and POOR welds.

As stated before, the diferance in the price reflects what ya get. the LCE is a stainless coated, thick flange part. the pacesetter/hooker/headman are steel painted. that equals rust and leaky.
But I am a little partial. I have been runnin the LCE on my runner for awhile now and no leaks or rust.
on the other hand you could buy 2 of the cheapies and have one for a spare(lol!)...........Karl

I had a pacesetter header on my eclipse and it took incredible amounts of modifying to the flanges etc. to make it even sit flush. Then the damn thing burned up on me in 2 months. i bought another one, same fitment issues and ended up somehow fracturing one of the down pipes which then cracked even larger. THEY ARE POS
