I am sad to say this, but I'm not coming this year, guys. I just can't justify the 4000 miles I'd put on Sherpa; at least not this year. It is 1800 miles each way, plus a few hundred miles driving around Colorado. I am still getting on my feet from my nearly 3 year IT layoff.
I hope everyone has a great time. I'm sure Mike Brown and Scott Yoder have done a great job organizing this year's event. I'll miss seeing everyone!

Scott, Sorry to hear you won't be making it out here. That is an awefully long drive, though. I'll call you over this weekend. Jeff

Bill Morgan, you ever hit these up? It is going to be a good time and Yoder will finally be there.

Mike posted these general event announcements:
ANNOUNCEMENT:
I talked to the campground yesterday. Their check-in time is 1 PM, and their check-out time is 11 AM.
They said, for those that plan to do trail runs on Sunday, but not spend the night Sunday night, it's okay if you return to camp to depart in the late afternoon/early evening. In other words, you don't have to worry about checking-out at 11 AM on Sunday to avoid being charged for an extra night. The lady said, as long as we have some folks staying overnight in the group site Sunday (which we will), they aren't going to care. I imagine the same will hold true for the other nights as well.
We will be meeting each morning for the trail runs in the parking lot at the campground entrance at 8:15, with the intention of departing at 8:30. We plan to go directly to the trails, so come prepared with adequate gasoline and food for the day.

Yup, too bad you can't make it Sherpa. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />
Bill Morgan told me he might be able to make it on Sat., but won't know till near the start of the event. I told him we would love to see his 1st gen do the crazy crawler flex over the rocks. It's a pretty awesome sight.

Yeah, All the info is here.... http://www.superbrown.com/CO4RJ04/I don't think there is an age minimum - besides having to have a CO drivers license. John
