Getting the Wheeling Fever
Basicly I need to do this http://www.4x4wire.com/forums/showf...mp;amp;sb=5&o=14&fpart=1

But it seems to be an impossible one man job. No matter what I do I cant pull/push the axle shaft far enough to get the clips on and if I let go the tention from the boots just pulls the axle shaft back in. Its driving me nuts..

Should it be this friggen hard?

The end of the cv joint (axle) should be threaded. You can thread a bolt in there and pull and get the snap ring on there. It can be a bit cumbersome but not too bad. I did the ones on my trooper myself.

are you using actual snap ring pliers? <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" /> (they WORK!)
