Ummmm...yea....what seal are you talking about?

If you are talking about a wheel bearing seal or an axle seal, you can pick up a cheap seal removal tool at a parts store for a few bucks which is a big metal hook with a handle.

Yes. Just tear it up with a flat head screwdriver.

The quick and dirty way is to put a piece of wood across the seal and pry with a screwdriver (using the wood block for leverage.) Just deform the sucker right out of there. Seals are a one shot deal so don't try to "save" it.

I prefer to use an actual seal puller which you can pick up cheap (under $10) from any autoparts store and will make your life a lot easier should you have to ever pull your inner axle seal.

hit it out from the other side. USe something that will not scratch the housing. Its not that hard to get that foil seal out <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/drunk.gif" alt="" />

A good way to hold the hub assembly is to put the hub assembly in the wheel with a couple of lug nut finger tight. Lay the tire face down. That will hold it while you pry the seal out. I use a pry bar and block of wood.
