After not driving for a day or so, I make an attempt to start the truck...well it dies fairly quickly as the RPMs are low. On attempt #2 I give it a little gas as I crank it...fires up and up go the RPMs. Truck will run perfectly throughout the day without any further starting problems... So what does giving it a little bit of gas do? Just basic mechanics...I'll take it to Autozone to have a diag run, but I just want to know what all is going on here. Only thing I can think of is that stepping on the gas allows more air into the chamber.
