'98/'99 Tacoma wheels on an '85 4wd P/U?

New guy here - it's my first post.
Will the Tacoma wheels with 31x10.50R15 tires fit on my '85 - offset, bolt pattern, etc?

Nope, sorry. The bolt pattern and the center hole are alright, but the backspacing is the killer. '85 and older trucks have 3.5" of backspacing. '86 and newer trucks have 4.5". If you try one on, you can't even get it onto the studs all the way before it hits the steering arms on the front (I tried). The rear fits but it puts the tire real close to the frame. I didn't want to run 'em that way.
You can do it with some spacers if you really want to though.

Thanks for the info. There's a set for sale and I need new tires so I thought I'd check it out. Won't bother with it since it would require spacers.
