Getting the Wheeling Fever

Wife used my '98 trooper this weekend and while backing into a tight spot hit a wall with the driver's side door mirror breaking the glass. I've ordered a replacement glass/mirror for it (luckily the housing seems OK). Can someone tell me what I need to know to replace it? Does it simply "pop" out or is there more to it?
