I don't know if this is from Ironman but BDS shows a 2" lift front strut for the Sportage on page 4 here:

http://www.bds-suspension.com/pdfs/catalog/shock.pdf

They also show a rear shock for a 2" lift.

Found more info.

The shocks and struts listed are made by Gabriel for BDS to go with the Ironman Suspension. BDS did not have any technical info on lengths.

The bad news is BDS is no longer going to be a US Ironman distributer.

The good news is that BDS is somewhat interested in making suspension lifts for the Sportage.

Maybe we should come to a concensus on what they should build. I am thinking front springs like the Eibach plus a 3/4" spacer for 3"-4" in the front and 4" all coil rear or a 2.5 to 3" both front and rear all coil would suit most people.

as for now they r leaning towards 2 kind of lifts ..
2" lift:
2 bds struts(2"longer)
4 coils(2"lift f/r)
2 rear shocks(26"extended)

(this is the kit that they said maybe on)
4" lift:(welding needed)
2 upper strut mounts
2 struts(3.5" longer)
4 coils(4"lift f/r)
2 rear shocks(26" extended)
drop down brackets for upper and lower control arms
bigger steering knuckles
rear shock mounting brackets
double angled panhard rod
longer 3 link arms(trailing arms)
and some other stuff they told me that i couldnt remember .. and it seems like the kit will be expensive .. he said they r estimating it to about more than 1400 dollars ... thats why they said it will be very unlikely for them to carry through their project on this ..

1400+ for a 4" IFS lift. I'll take it. unless the + is closer to another $1000.

btw .. they do have nice shocks .. but dont believe on their warranty that they will replace it no matter what the cause of problem .. coz they wont .. they only have that on kits and brackets .. not shocks or struts .. they got me on that one .. coz that the only reason i bought their shocks ..

1400 is just his rough estimate and that is not a completed kit yet .. i could imagine that it woul cost more ..

i really don't know how they are making that estimate, it's way too high, they must have a huge profit margin on it.
