Doing ARB's front and rear. The rear went together like clockwork, and no problem. however....

The front: Driver side went together OK, but the passenger side seems to be locked up. the axle does not seem to go in correctly, and it seems as if the ARB is locked up. When the axle is turned manually, the driveshaft spins, but the other axle doesn't move. It appears to be cycling well with air, and it bench tested fine (although we did not stick the axle shafts in to test while on the bench). I should note that I'm also doing a Birfield eliminator, with Dana 44 axle shafts, but it doesn't make sense that the axle shaft would have anything to do with it.

Anyone's thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Update : Finally got thru to tech support at Randy's, and he said there is a small bushing in the Birfield eliminator kit which was probably binding against the spindle. This would lock up the axle shaft, and give the appearance of a locked diff. He sent me the smaller shims, and I'll be tearing into it and trying again tonight. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />
