Anyone ever replace their contol arm bushings with poly bushings? The Energy Suspension poly bushings I'm planning to use require that you reuse the steel shells of the old bushings. How difficult is it to remove the old material? thanks Steve Tucson

It isn't too difficult. It's just a bit messy and smelly. Just heat the shells with a torch until the rubber is really cooked. You know you're getting close when the rubber starts spitting all over the place. The bushing will easily push out of the shell and should leave very little residue. On the lower arms, I found it easier to remove the center part first and then work on getting the rubber off the outer shell. This doesn't work with the upper arms.
Having a garden hose handy is probably a good idea.
