Howdy Kerry (any relation?) Yours is the first post I can remember about expanding brake lines.. I have used original WWII lines recently that did not expand. I wonder where them that you speak of came from. Big JIm

I also have an 86 CJ7. I have power brakes and it stops about the same. I have relaced everything except the booster and the proportional valve. My cousin has a 79 CJ7 with manual brakes and they work great. I heard you can get an upgrade for the booster that has duel diaphrams. I figuired that is what I will try next. If you find out what is wrong with yours I would like to know.

aloha,I just realized a mistake in my original post, my jeep is an '84 cj7. Not that it makes much difference from reading the last post.Mine does not have the power booster.
