I had a question about upgrading my alternator. With all the lights and winch I plan on hooking up soon. I figure I'll need to get a beefed up alt. Any sugestions on who/what/where to look for?
Alternators are a bit out of my area <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/notooth.gif" alt="" />

Hi,

Unless you are running over 500 watts of lights, you would be better off upgrading your battery rather than your alternator.

The alternator is 70A.
