Brake/Charge lights on when it's wet out.

When it's raining out the brake/charge lights come on (stupid hurricane). I'm not going fast into puddles or splashing or anything like that. When the RPM comes up around 3000-3500 they go out. I've had an alt do this to me before when I was running some deep water. It's a lifetime parts store alt and about 6 months old since I last had them honor thier warrenty. Belt is tight, and I'm thinking the water is making the belt slip. Only happens when it's raining.

95% sure it has to do with the alternator. Check the connector. Make sure it is not loose or broken. Most times when the charge/brake light come on it is due do a dead alt or one with a bad connection.
