I've got a Warn M8000 winch. I bought it used and it's got a good 4-5 years on it. I need a new control box and remote. The best prices I can find are $210.00 for replacing them both as a package deal.
Basically, my question is should I dish out this kind of money for an older winch or kick it and buy a newer model M8000 or some other newer (more $$$) internal solenoid warn winch? Suggestions??

MM electric is ok, hydraulic is horrible.
You have the BEST winch made WARN, even if you have to have the motor rebuilt too, it is still a better unit that anything else you can buy. Other than a higher end WARN winch.
