Getting the Wheeling Fever
Can anyone tell me how Alcan springs work; soft or harsh, and how durable they are. I'm wondering if they sag and lose ride height after a year or so?

I've had 2 sets and I find they settle just a little, maybe 1/2" - 1" if at all. Be sure and weight your truck (both axles separate) before you order to get the right spring rate for your needs.

Mine sagged almost immeasurably. I also used some very well-used 4" springs for a while, and when measuring them against brand new ones found only 1/2" difference in height (I know this can be an apples and oranges comparison, but...).

They are first rate springs.

Body Damage is Cool
You can grow old waiting for Alcan springs to sag. Mine came a little too high in the rear and after a year of waiting for them to sag I gave up and removed two of the leaves from each side to get the truck level. Also make sure to get the right length, mine have a 51.5 inch arc lenght and are a little too short.
