Does anyone know if this gasket goes on dry, oiled then assembled or thin layer RTV sealant. Planning on replacing this tomorrow.

Thanks in advance.

The adaptor is the metal device that you put the oil filter on. This device attaches to passenger side of engine with a gasket in between.

I did mine dry with just a couple dabs of rubber gasket sealer to hold it in place. 4000 miles later, its still good.
