Getting the Wheeling Fever
Installing power brakes on my 86' CJ. Have a 6cyl. w/ a Weber Carb. Where can I pull vacume from? If you have a picture that's even better, unless it's pretty obviouse. There is no provision on the carb base as is on say a Ford 302. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

i'm not sure about the manifold on your jeep... but if it doesn't already have a port thats been sealed.. i've seen people pull the manifold and drill and tap a new port for the booster.

Need a Spot
On my Jeep I have a port on the carb adapter that came with my Weber carb. You must have a different manifold than I do. My jeep is an 86 also with the stock manifold.

Use a manifold vacuum port. Try not use the carb vauum.

Carb produces less vacuum and low idle, manifold is greater and low idle. This will work perfect when wheeling and street use.
