I scored an 8274 for $200...couldn't pass that up. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/evil.gif" alt="" />
I'm now building a winch bumper to hold it on my '88
PU, but it looks like the winch will block some significant
air to the radiator. While looking at the front grill it
looks like the spaces between the grates (for lack of a
better term) could be widened with a dremel or similar tool.
Has anyone done this or found a need for better cooling
after adding an 8274 to the front of a Yota truck?

Regards,
indy

With my winch and lights, I noticed some slight cooling issues. Mostly the fan would come on more than needed, including on the highway. So, what I did was remove the center grill, cut out all the slats and install a wire mesh in it's place. It's not as noticable, since the winch and bumper covers most of it up, but it increased airflow enough to solve the problem.
