Head torque and torque sequence [Re: triplediamonds] #517537 10/24/04 06:04 PM Joined: Feb 2004 Posts: 10,238 Columbia, SC FrankR Web Wheeler 80 ft/lbs..... you have 4 rows of 2 bolts - as you face the passenger side head, the top bolt of the 2nd row (from the front) is #1 - 2nd is the bolt directly under. Continue in a clockwise spiral, tightening in incremental increases until you reach 80 ft/lbs all 'round. As you face the driver side head, #1 is the top bolt of the 3rd row (from the front). 2nd in order is the bolt directly under. Continue in a clockwise spiral as above. No retorque is necessary with the OE style gasket.
