Is replacing the Oxygen sensor as easy as it looks? Turn a couple nuts, disconnect the wiring harness and pull out the old oxygen sensor. Reverse procedure to install new one.

yup. the new OEM sensor comes with a new gasket. i'd buy two new nuts since they are a locking type.

nuts for oxy sensors (and for header piece drivers side) $1.48 90179-08059

if you have the right die, i'd clean up the threads on the studs and then use plenty of high temp (copper) anti-sieze.

Chase the threads with a 8mm 1.25 die

The oxygen sensor is ordered from Underdog Racing, which I understand is a supporting member of this forum, for about $86 delivered. Can't beat that. Also went to the local Ace Hardward and picked up a couple 8mm w/ 1.25 pitch stainless steel nuts & lock washers and picked up some anti-seize (copper) from NAPA.

I don't have an 8mm 1.25 die for cleaning the threads. Do you think that is necessary or will a bronze bristle brush and some anti-seize be good enough?

Depends on your rust factor. You could could always use a new bolt working it back and forth with some spray lubricant to clean the threads if you have to. You'll probably be fine.

I replaced my 2 Oxygen sensors today. The nuts were starting to disintegrate, but came off very easily with a little PB Blaster.
