Okay, so I posted awhile ago with questions about wanting a stiff ride. I have been doing some looking through posts, and tryin' to find some good places to get this stuff.
I have a Tundra w/ the 3.4 and don't like the car ride. I wonder about using the Wheeler's Customer AAL's, and he also sells the 1.5in front coil spacers that'll preload the coil which I hope will take some dive/roll outta the truck, and I figure the back end will be a bit bouncy. I don't want my truck level, or nose up, but on about the same nose down rake it's got now so I figure if Wheeler's AAL's and the coil spacers both give about 1.5 lift, it'll stay the same rake, just higher. And my last thought was with the AAL's, how long can I expect to keep the springs from sagging so bad I need new packs, or is that not really a problem within like the first 50K miles of an AAL.
Anyone use those products before? Anyone have any thoughts on if that's a good idea. I don't have a lot of money, so this seems like a really good way to go to get ride height, and a little more level load cap. for the bed as well as stiffen it up a bit. I'd like some input anyone has. Thanks.

have you looked at getting a stiffer sway bar setup? normally that's what controls dive/roll. i think that raising the truck would only make the problem worse. i dont think the coil spacers would preload the coils either because there would still be the same amount of weight compressing them.

think your barking up the wrong tree man. Stiff ride is either from A- stiff a$$ shocks and/or stiff springs (strong rate). If you have stock shocks... that's "A" right there. Get some Rancho shocks, they are stiff and i like them. B- get some beffier leafs in the back and or Tbars upfront. those coil spacers will only preload it, not chaning the rate at which the spring will compress b/c that's determined by the metal, gauge, etc. basically engineering of the spring, Tbar or Leaf. You can also run more than 1 schock per wheel. you could run 2 schocker per wheel.... that'll stiffen it up. I think your best bet would be Rancho shocks and some Beefy aftermarket springs.

I've been thinking about that. The bars/springs. I plan on doing something to the Sway bars, but not sure what. And hopefully would like to get one on the rear. It's not used much off-road, so I don't worry to much. It's a work truck for the most part, but see's dist and stuff. Anyway, I like the idea of stiffer shocks. Have a set of Billy's on there now, and plan on replacing with the HD Billy's that come from someone other than TRD. I hear those are slightly less stiff if you will.

Pick up a poly-eurethane sway bar bushing set. This will double the strength of the current sway bar. The sway bar prevents body roll. To help out the rear you can add a sway bar(cheapest), or a set of rancho or procomp traction bars, to tie the rear axle to the frame. Next pick up a set of the rancho or procomp adjustable shocks, so you can tune them to a more sportier ride. Putting on a wider tire/rim package will also help with the body roll.
