Hi again, I never got an owners manual so need help here. Sometimes the brake light comes on when driving, then goes off. Maybe comes one once when driving, then I tap the brake pedal, when moving, the kight goes out. Brake fluid level OK. Tom

If the brake fluid is not up to the "FULL" mark on the master cylinder then add some fluid until it reaches that point and see if that cures the intermittent brake light.

Mine had this problem and what I found is that you have to TOP IT OFF - or keep it completely filled to prevent it.
good luck! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

Thank you for info.
The brake fluid is down a little but not low. I put some in today and will see what happens.

It is quite possible that fluid is tad low. This sensor is real touchy.
Also, I have noticed that it will come on if the brakes attempt to lock-up. I found this out today driving through construction with a little wet , muddy road. On a turn I tapped the brake a little too hard, rear slide a little and light came on. off the pedal , like 3 seconds and light went out. I decided to test this theory and attempted the "lock-up" test 2 more times. Each time the light came on as the rear locked up. This may be tied into the ABS system somehow.

possible the sensor could be bad too, or the wires could be chaffed or something.
