Not really, one without a mounting plate or dash pad went for 280$ just a few weeks ago. Your lucky.

What cracks me up is that these things are pretty much worthless because you have to be sitting stationary for them to work properly. So you pull onto this side hill and stop to check your clinometer as your rig tips over and rolls down the hill! Of course my stupid 4Runner has it and it's kind of annoying sticking up in the middle of the dash. The problem is, if I remove it I'll have a hole there.

I agree with Jeff. These things are lame. I'm taking mine out but retaining the hood to house three auto meter gauges

I'm going to have to disagree. I use mine all the time. The altimeter is very useful when looking at real estate and I need to know what the elevation is. Regardless of what it says it is still accurate when moving just not as accurate. Its very usefull if one feels tippy, a quick glance at the gauge and if its at 20 degrees you can relax. Also it is the coolest looking gauge in any truck.

The ôfront to backö gauge registers inaccurately during acceleration, but the slow rock crawling speeds shouldn't be much of a problem.
