I am going to look at a 4runner that's for sale in a couple of days. The owner gave me a full run down on it. He said the only thing wrong with it is that the check engine light is on and the emergency brake light is also on. I figure the brake light is due to low fluid or something out of adjustment, no big deal. He did say that he pulled the code on the check engine and it showed a "cam timing sensor" malfunction. This is on a 3.0 motor so I have no idea what this means. Is this something major or minor? Would it be a PITA to change out? I have no clue. Thanks for any input.

The dash lights indicate a no charge condition. The altenator is not charging or the harness is not hooked up.
Good luck
