Looks like I will need to remove the intake.I guess its time to buy a book on it.Can manual hubs be installed?

Are you inquiring about Mitsu or Zu? If it's the latter, then you might have better luck posting in the Zu forum. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Actually, even if you're inquiring about a 2002 Mitsu, you might have better luck in the Zu forum - I don't think anyone here owns one. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

I tend to float around this forum looking for newer models Q's. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> If you are inquiring about an 02 Montero, the upper intake does in fact need to be removed.
Also, i'm almost 100% sure the ABS tone wheel is located on the outer CV axle. With that being the case, unlocking the hubs will stop it's rotation which will trigger an ABS code amongst other things.

I guess I need to order a gasket for it.I see what you mean on the ABS sensor,oh well.
