I hope its okay to post this type of post in the toyota forum. I'm sorta new to wheeling. But, I know a few good spots because I have a YZ450 and have done lots of backwoods riding on it. I live in Burlington, VT and am looking for other people to tear it up with. I also have 10 acres of land up in Newport that I am currently clearing out for mudding and a dirtbike track. I just bought this rig and have been having lots of fun with her. Some of you may recognize it. She used to be a member named SHAD's truck until he caught the solid axle bug This works just fine for me so far though. I was in the tightest, greasiest, logging roads and it just powered through it all. The engine runs real strong only 4-8k on the rebuil. Nice job SHAD. ![[Linked Image]](http://www.40oztofreedom.com/morepics/IMG_1655.jpg) BTW, that smoke is from a fire, not the car!

Thanks, I just updated the sig... its almost 5". The 3" blocks were cut in half. Thus making it 1.4" of body and 3.5 of suspension on 33's.

I see a killer robot or maybe it is a dog in the front seat! If it weren't such a far drive I would come up.

Nice bud, Glad to see my old rig is getting some use. I think likely the guy who traded me the Prelude SI for the 4 runner is getting another car like the prelude. I think the handling of it scared him too. He was probably trying to drive it like his prelude and the thing has loads of flex to it so it gets quite tipsy. He had mentioned he wanted to put swaybars back on it. From the sound of it he wasn't really into 4x4's but his friend was..
I am still wrenching on my truck so it is down for now. I do want to wheel bad though. That reminds me my buddy Jason who works at Earl's Cyclery has access to a farm with loads acreage and lots of class 4 and 5's in it. The roads/trails are extremely rutted and are quite alot of fun. So rutted in fact we got a 4wd tractor w/ out rigger and a rear digger stuck about 4 times trying to recover jason's truck one night.
Hey you know where I live so you can stop by sometime.
Bryan

nice, shad. that farm sounds like lots of fun. Sway bars??? what are those? JK. lol. I love the way it handles. I'm not trying to drive all sporty on the road and get myself in trouble. I've always been heavy on the gas, so I'd much rather play in the dirt or trails where noone is really around to bother me. I'll stop by sometime soon, when i find a moment.
Spacetrucking, The track we are building is in Newport, near Jay Peak ski reort sort of. It's only 7 miles from Canada. You are probably closer to it than i am in Burlington. Your more than welcome to come down next year when its starting to become rideable. We are still pulling a lot of trees out of there and then we have to bring in more dirt for burms and jumps. There should be some 4x4 trails with a couple mudholes as well. Its gonna be great for snowmobiling also.

Thanks for the invite, that's great! Another track / riding area to add on to the list. Yeah, I've been to Jay a few times, like the Jet under the chair. Had to stop pounding the bumps once, had never done such long endless bump runs! Thanks again, Hugh
