I just got off the phone with Eric at Pacesetter after posing some questions regarding emissions hookups for the Pacesetter headers for the 2.6 (models 70-1125/72C1125). He told me that they haven't sold/manufactured that model for about 2 yrs (I know they can still be had at JCWhitney, etc). The reason being, they have had problems with them matching up to the heads very well. They had a guy that was going to send them a head to the 2.6, but he apparently left the country? Anyway, I thought that someone here might have an old one just lying around to send them so that they had a head to work with *for proper flange mating*. I figure that if we could get them to put this back into prod, it might help out a few of us with the 2.6 squeeze out a few more ponies and maybe reduce actual head problems(?).

Contact Eric at tech@pacesetterexhaust.com , (602) 266-1964, if you can help them (us) out.

you know maybe you were saying 2.6L....but, he was thinking Isuzu v-6 (3.2L)

the "sending the head" story sounds like what the guys on here were chatting about w/ the 3.2L headders. and i Guess Micheal woods 3.2L header was at least 2 years a go if not more.

just a thought.

yea, I don't know it he was confusing the 2 or not. I know that the 2.6 headers are still available from several sources. Matt, have you heard of anyone having fitting issues? How about us CA folks, problems passing emissions tests with em? I know that they have the connection/ports for sensors. CA s*cks in that pretty much any headers really are illegal for on road use. Anyway, I do plan on ordering them for the newly acquired RS once other issues are sorted out.
