I would get a click and all the power would kick on just fine. But the engine wouldn't try turning over. Now it's permanent. It won't kick over at all. The batter has plenty of juice, I just replaced the starter last month, I'm pretty certian the ground comin off the battery is fine. My last thought would be the ignition. Whattya think??? USA 4Crawler Web Wheeler Likely worn copper contacts inside the starter solenoid. See the page above for troubleshooting and repair information. USA 4Crawler Web Wheeler Quote This can be the cause even if the starter/silenoid is virtually brand new? By "brand new" I assume this is a brand new "rebuilt" starter, vs. a brand new OEM starter? If it is a rebuilt unit, then yes, a rebuilt starter may only have been cleaned and painted and put in a box. Follow the troubleshooting steps on my web page, the key one is to measure the voltage at the starter solenoid control terminal.
