Zero budget snorkle. Inspired by Bruce's snorkle, but slighty different and cheaper .

This on my 90 Trooper RS with the 2.6 EFI. I simply reused the silly pipe that runs across the front of the truck. Cut a hole in the center wiper access plate. The inside part of the pipe not visible is elbowed sideways. Fastened the pipe joints with sheetmetal screw. No evidence of water getting into airbox. No noticeable noise or power increase . And while it is not much of a snorkle. Water would have to be about 4 foot deep, before slurping any into the motor. And please stop me if you see me heading off to the deep end of the pool.

I recently went to the Isuzu Reader's Rigs page where it shows pictures of member's Isuzu 4WDs and noticed a nice looking snorkel on a Trooper. The Trooper is white and is owned by Jake Dawson and his picture of it is on the first page of the Isuzu Reader's Rigs section. I know he made it himself and I wanted to ask him about it, but I don't know how to contact him. He had no email address listed and does he have a username here at 4x4Wire? I appreciate help and thanks.
