Getting the Wheeling Fever
I bought a complete rear, drum to drum with a lockrite about a month ago, I pulled the third, swaped it and it works great, I think. Problem is, its loud as hell sometimes. When I turn left I get the quiet ratcheting sound, kind of a soft clickity click, inaudible with the windows up. But, when I turn right sometimes I get a klangity klang, which can be heard with windows up and radio on med-low. Both turns are done with the clutch in and coasting. Is this normal? I have another third as a spare, so a swap is feasable.
Thanks.

Toy,
Mine still does it every once in a while too.
I have found that both my rear tires need to have the SAME amount of air in them in order for the locker bang not to happen as often. Also I keep a close eye on my diff oil. Please note that my LockRight has been in my truck since 1994 and is still going strong. I would not worry too much about it. Great off-road. Do a search on this board for LOCKER BANG from a couple of years ago.
