I just found this kit. Anyone tried it out yet? What IFS hubs will work on the solid front axle?

I installed the Sky wide axle kit on my '85 pickup to better match the '90 rear axle that I also installed for extra width.

Any of the '89-94 IFS front hubs should work. I also did the brake upgrade by using IFS calipers and Land Cruiser vented rotors. It all bolts up pretty easy, the only difficulty was drilling the holes for the extra pins on the rotor that Sky recommends in their kit.

Overall it seems like a much better setup than running a wheel spacer, and now the tire shops will balance my tires again. The local tire shops around here won't touch trucks with wheel spacers for liability reasons I guess.

Thanks for the input. I like the wider track idea. Check out these other links. I have been asking around.

My personal opinion, I'm with OOP's on this one. Eeek. You wanna fab up a driveshaft, go for it. You wanna weld on a through-the-frame solid axle mount, weld on, dude. You wanna screw around with caliper mounting on the front axle no less, I say, buy the widening kit and keep the stock proven mounting. Or let me know which highways you drive...
