94 Trooper fuel pump

I am trying to change my fuel pump in a 94 tropper and can't get it out of the tank

Do you have the tank out of the truck? All you should need to do is unscrew the screws on the round thing on top of the tank and gently pry it open with a screwdriver. There is a gasket in there also. Then the fuel pump and filter should lift out.

thats the proplem the tank is out and there are about 6 nubs that look like screw heads but there is no slots
|

Should be 6 Philips screws. The slots could be full of rust and dirt.
