Getting the Wheeling Fever

I just received 5 OEM oil filters from an online seller ($3.89 each) for my 2002 4runner (3.4 liter, 6 cylinder). I was suprised to see that they are the same filer I use in my 1993 pickup (22RE, 2.4 liter, 4 cylinder). Do I have the right filter? 08922-02011. Thanks.

A bit of searching on the web suggests this is the correct filter for my 2002 and 1993. There do appear to have been some part number changes along the way, perhaps suggesting this filter has been on the shelf a while? Dunno.

Same filter... You have the correct one indeed. I too was kinda surprised by all the different Toy motors that use the same filter. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />
4xGeek (Chris) '97 T-100 4wd sr5-suto, 3" BL, 1.5" BJ spacers, 35" ProComp AT's, 4.88's, Bilsteins x 6, etc... No longer stuck in SoCal!!
