I had to jump start the vehicle after not driving it for 2 1/2 months. Its started fine. I knew it needed a cat so I drove it into the shop. When I dropped it off, it wouldn't start again. It doesn't click or try to crank.
I done a search and I think its somewhere between the relay and the starter, or may be the ignition switch.
My question is where do testing. My stepdad has a voltmeter but I'm not good with electrical problems. Where do I put the leads of the voltmeter. Sorry for such basic questions. Any help will be appreciated.

oh yea, I checked all fuses allready and cleaned the battery terminals.

See my page below for some troubleshooting ideas:

Basically, you want to measure the voltage at the starter solenoid control wire terminal. That is that small wire hooked to the starter. If that voltage (to ground) is more than 0.5V less than the battery voltage, then look upstream from the starter for the cause of the problem; connections, wiring, relay, ignition switch, etc.

Sounds like you might want to start with checking the battery. It might be bad if you had to jump it off!! Check the voltage at the battery first!!
