Body Damage is Cool
Located in the center of the dash, just right of the instrument pod, there is an approx. 2"x5" cover that I would like to remove. Does anyone know if this just pops out or if it is mechanically fastened from underneath somehow. I looked in the manual and can't find even what might have been an option in here. Thanks for any help.

I believe it just pops off - take a smallish/thinnish screwdriver and just pry gently. Or forcefully depending on your usual method of automotive repair technique.

There's a post recently about the availability of a factory clock in this location.

IIRC, it clips in with built-in plastic spring-back fingers that have a little barb on their tips for retention. IIRC, I used a thin, broad, stiff tool to lever this panel out.

Thanks guys. I was thinking it just popped off but didn't want to break it in case I want to put it back. I also was thinking about the clock feature but the radio has one so it didn't make sense to have two.
