Any tips for removing those little coin holders on the dash. I guess they are just covers for places to put accessory switches, etc. Do I just pull on them, pry with a blade or do I have to get in the back of the dash? Just wanted to get some info before I put too much effort in to figuring it out myself
I tried to search but no luck. I rarely have luck with searches here

You'll have the best luck getting at them from the back side of the dash.

but save them for when you screw up cutting holes in the dash or elsewhere. a little epoxy and people think it's oem.

Just an FYI update, in case someone else has the same problems I did.
I tried lots of things to get these coin holders off. They would not budge. Didn't resort to taking the dash apart tho. Finally, I grabbed one with a pair of Channel Locks, wiggled and pop. Came right out. Took a little force, but not bad. Fingers didn't work for me, had to use tools.
