Hello!

If you are going too put a Dana44 "diff on passanger side" under your Pajero/Montero/Raider you can take the gear/tranny from a Mazda B2600 whitch is bolt on to the 2,6 engine.

Hasse,

Can you not find Dana 44s with the differential on the driver's side in Sweden? They're pretty common in the U.S., but I'm guessing not so common in Europe...

This is good info for folks that wanna swap in toyota axles this way you could keep the mitsu rear if you wanted to put a 5.29 in it and also have matching 5.29 in the toyo axle upfront.

What kind of t-case does it have? What low range gears? I am getting an axle from a friend for my rear, but his front is pass side. If I could get both from him, it would be easier, because they both are already built, 5.13 gears and lockers. Do you know if it will bolt to the 3.0, bellhousing swap maybe?

I just want to tell you both good luck, and we're all counting on you.

In sweden it?s not legal too put in another engine than original in vehicels after -76 "smog test legal"

the only way too go is if the car/truck weight is over 2600Kg total.
