Getting the Wheeling Fever
I am trying to adjust my timing. My FSM hasn't made the move yet and is 130 miles away.

Where is the timing jumper located on a 95 runner 3vze, and which pins do I jump?

IIRC I am looking for 8 deg before TDC jumped and 12 deg before w/out the jumper.

Thanks for the help guys!!

Anthony

Thanks Roger! So the jumper for the error codes is the same one used when setting the timing? Just making sure I don't screw things up to bad!

I think so, it is on my '85 and also on a '94 that I tested.
If you put the jumper in and the timing does not change, then it is eitehr the wrong pins or the TPS IDL-E2 setting is off:

That was the one! Thanks Roger!! My timing was at about 2 deg after TDC when I checked it. I set it at 10 deg before TDC. It cranks a little smother and I got close to 16 MPG at 80 w/ two kayaks on the roof. Much better.

Thanks again!

Anthony
