well, I could use a Bed more than seats right now. my girlfriend just got a 01 4unner.. so that's the nice car. So the reason i'm selling... need a truck! lol. i thik the T100 is #1 on my list. SO let me get this straight.. they only made the T100 from 93-98. 93-95 T100's have Gear boxes and pitman arms for steering, and then the 96-98's have Rack & pinion. right? so i'd be looking for a 93-95!

Sorry but I think I confused you a bit, ler me clear this up:

T100's were made from 1993 to 1998. all have the "old school" steering box. I.E. 1986-1995 pickups/4runners and 93-98 T100's 4x4's

93-94 were all long beds, regular cab, and had the crappy 3L V6

95-98 x-cab added with short bed and the 3.4 V6

97-98 easier to supercharge due to ECU compatibility but otherwise the same

NOTE: 4x4 T100's do not have a rack and pinion steering in any year. Also most 3.4 V6s had a head gasket recal which ended during mid year 1997. Easy way to find out if it was done or needs to be done is by getting the VIN# and calling your dealer.

Hope that helps
Matt

Also look on ebay for a good deal. I bought mine stock 3 years ago for 6k

Well darnit! I coulda helped you about 2 months ago. In any case, use Ebay and/or Autotrader. I found mine on Autotrader two years ago. Ebay will be the better deals though.

There are 2 in OR if you want to look that far. 96Xcab, SR 5,5sp, canopy, says 90K miles w/new engine at 77K. Wonder how come? Anyway, asking 11.9K 503-334-8727. Then a 97 Xcab SR5 5 Sp w/ 96K for 10.5 503-244-4177. Looks like all private parties, but only know what ah reads in dah payper.

I always wondered about the SAS and engineering angles. Did someone calculate the proper mount point geometries? Or was it a tac-n-go till it looked right?
Wheel articulation?
Wheel travel?
Compression?
Drive angle?
Shaft angle?
Braking torque?

I'm asking too much, huh. Ok...no more coffee for me! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />

well I've been searching for T100's 95-98 and not many. found 1 in the state of FL that sparked interested. very expensive and high milage. Honestly... i dont know who in the world is buying up all the used Toyota trucks. it's a conspiracy! lol. I have a feeling i'll end up keep my 4runner and hacking the back off nicely.
