They're sport seats, first available in '97 along with, for the first time, 16" wheels. I've got 'em in my '97 (and they are extremely nice), but good luck finding them from a parts supplier or pick-n-pull...

I believe (trying to remember previous posts on this) that they fit but only 3 of the 4 bolts are there on bench seats. There's also something different with the seat belts...

And they are WAY more comfortable than the Bench seats. I'm Very glad that was something that came in my '97.

Any ideas where to look for them?

If you have the bench, they should line up fine for the front and back holes on the 2 outside rows, closest to the doors. You would likely have to drill two new rows of two holes, front and back, for the inside, closest to the tranny hump, if that makes sense.

The sport seat has been offered in the 4Runner back to the second gen. I just bought a set of leather sport seats out of a '92 4Runner, for my '85 pickup. You can find them occaisionally here in the classifieds section of this board and there are often some for sale on eBay or you could check www.car-parts.com to see if any are available in your area. They usually go for $100-$300 on eBay, depending on their condition, plus another $60-$100 for shipping.... <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/scared.gif" alt="" />

I also picked up a pair of gray cloth bucket sport seats from another '92 4Runner, but I'm probably going to sell them since I found the leather ones. Keep an eye on the Parts for Sale forum here on 4x4Wire -

I swapped in a sport bucket for the drivers side of my bench. 3 of the 4 bolts fit and the seat belts are somewhat different - the buckle and attaches to the seat, not the floor. I can take some pictures in another day or two.
