Has anyone tried the 1" Lift Progressive Rate Springs that Performance Products sells?
I'd like to get just a little bit of lift and an improved ride (stockers seem a little soft)... I was considering those springs with the Bilstein shocks. BTW - my 4Runner is usually on the street, but I love to get out into the wilderness on occassion for camping and hiking by way of moderate 4WD trails.
Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks!

They will ride good as long as you don't try and run a spacer on top to gain lift, as they become too stiff. (ask me how I know lol)

Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks! I've had them awhile. I got them because Downey was backordered. I truely don't remember what stock feels like, but the ride now is ok IMO. It cured the rearend sag. If you carry a lot of weight when you camp you may want to go with Downey HD. PP tend to sag a bit when loaded down. Never mind.....I didn't realize you had a 3rd Gen...

I have them at all four corners and they handle great and the ride is still pretty good too! Only problem I am having is with a slight bit of sag in the front as I have installed my TJM bumper along with a Warn M8000 winch which is not light weight by any means. As well, I also added the Optima Yellow top battery in place of the factory unit. I think all the extra weight was not intended for these springs. If you don't plan to add all this stuff then you will be fine and probably enjoy the heck out of them! If your gonna add weight to the truck with accessories then you might want to look at another solution with a heavier load rating. JM2C.

Those or the full soft OME set up would be just right.
On the PP stuff, just make sure they send you the right part numbers. Confirm it by the sales associates ID number, name, etc. On the good side, they are competitively priced with similar springs and they are built by HR (or last I heard) which makes a fine quality spring.
Best of luck with your mods, you've entered the money pit now!
