hi guys, its been awhile... i was wondering what the link was to that website that outlined how someone put on 33" tires (dont remember the width) on a pickup by only adding a 1" lift, and trimming some fenders.... anyone remember what i speak of? i have had a helluva time finding it in searches..

thanks
danny

here is a pic of what i cut on my truck. to really pound back the spot where it will rub, you will have to put the computer in the glove box before going at it with a BFH.

just remember that the width and backspacing of your rims is going to make a big difference as to how much your tires will rub

Man Roger I always loved the 35s with the minimal lift...

Did you have any frame rubbing problems due to using the stock wheels?

thanks, i liked that the best too. rubbed on the idler arm and the pitman arm at full lock, but everything else was ok. i got rid of them because i bought the bj spacers and with the extra travel and needing a 3/4" spacer the 35's would have rubbed bad. i am planning to re-do the whole suspension soon, so we will see what i can fit after that.
