Hello all, it good to be back. I'm healing from 18 broken bones, havent driven the 4runner in 3 1/2 months.
One of the wiring harnesses was lying on the header for some time now and burnt through 13 wires, so after fixing that, it needed a new battery and a cat converter. I drove it today in the snow for the first time. It felt GOOD.
My question is that right before the accident, I noticed one day that when the hearer was turned on, it was pretty loud, almost like a groan noise. That day, it seems like I heard water flowing from behind the dash. It getts progressivly louder with each higher setting, loud enough to drown out the stereo and the knobby tires. It even seemed to tighten up the power steering when the heater was turned on high. The heat works fine, engine temp is fine and doesn't take a long time to warm up.
Anyone know what this could be.

Thanks for any response.

Sid

Pull the blower motor out and see if there is something in there like leaves, dirt.
