Yup, the posi lock is an excepted means of makeing the front end not locked. How much is the locker you are planning on getting? How much is the posi lock with accessories? If the 2 cost more than an ARB and necessary hardware, consider getting an ARB. It will be a far better investment than a Lock-Right and a Posi-lock.

Body Damage is Cool
Posi-lock cable is used to replace the vacuum switch assembly that was stock for engauging and dissengauging the 4wd mode on the front axle. I am assuming you are asking if the Jeep will handle better if you install a locker in your front differential. I think the answer is "somewhat". What do have on your Jeep, now? in regard to lift, tires, etc. Apparently, you have a locker in the rear differential. Do you air-down your tire pressure when you're four-wheeling in the dirt? Airing down the tires to between 10 to 15 psi will allow improved traction, and perhaps improved control, less bouncing, improved ride, etc.
BTW, have you noticed that many PC's today come with additional keys, such as: commas, periods, question marks, etc.!

if you wanna do away with the vacume connect..spend the cash and get a decent locker up front with a TJ axle shaft upgrade..... that will eliminate the vacume for good... thats the was to go unless you wanna spend more cash on the manual hub upgrade..and i don't suggest that on the d30 ..many like it but its exspensive and you could have another axle all together up there for the price
