Getting the Wheeling Fever
My 1997 Trooper springs have sagged and I was considering the OME 912's but didn't want much of a lift. If I put in the 912's and didn't crank the torsion bars would that work or would it look too slanted and would I have to get an alignment?

obviously, thats a subjective question: IMHO, i would want to match the t-bars with the ome lift. However, although it would look more slanted than stock, it wouldn't be horribly eyecatching.

btw, the t-bar crank is easy... and for 1.25" of lift, you don't neccessarily have to get an alignment

Body Damage is Cool
As far as I understand the matter, OME 913 will give you stock height.

I spoke with someone at ARB USA and ended up ordering the OME 929's from rocky-road.com should be about .75 inch lift and they were only $69 each plus the shipping was free. Hopefully they won't be too stiff and I will crank up the torsion bars if need be.

I put 929's on my Amigo, 3" to 4" lift and rides much smoother than stock. Cannot beat the progressive spring rate. Will post picture when I get my Vehicross wheels and new tires installed.

'94, and '00 Amigos and '00, 01 Rodeos. Rodeo springs and aftermarket 'hard top on 94. Aisin hubs OME 919's on the 2000 Amigo. 2000 and 2001 Rodeos have OME 912's and Aisin. Smoother ride with the OME 919's???

I've had the OME 929 springs installed for about the last 1,000 miles and all I can say is WOW! I wish I would have installed them years ago, the ride is incredibly smooth, less body sway, and better handling. All that plus about an inch of lift, I would highly recommend the OME 929's to anyone with a Trooper.
