thought i might pick your brains about somethning weird. the other day i was driving my truck when i heard a metal to metal sound from my rear diff. it was kinda like a "PING". weird thing is just a split second after i heard it the ass end of my truck kinda kicked to the right. now this happened just after making a turn so i`m thinking it might have something to do with my rear detroit locker but i pulled the diff out yesterday and everything seemed to be fine <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />. put it all back together and there is no difference from when i first installed it two years ago. anyone runnig a locker ever experience this??? i drove the truck to work today and everything was fine so i`m not too worried, i just don`t want to hurt anything in the longrun.

I have heard/felt that ping-shift in other auto locked trucks. My son's EZ locker does it - hate the thing.
