Getting the Wheeling Fever
So, I was coming home from church last night and the darn thing didn't want to shift. I figured the clutch had finally gone out, but then I looked in the master cylinder and noticed that there was no brake fluid. The clutch doesn't seem to be slipping at all (yay). This thing has almost 190K on it and still has the original clutch.

How should I proceed?

The KIA isn't as powerful as the dually, but it sure is easier to park.

Find the leak...fast! And don't drive it until you do.

The brake system and the clutch hydraulics share the same brake fluid. The first place to look for a leak is the clutch slave cylinder. It's located on the bellhousing on the passenger side.

If no leak there go over the brake lines from front to back. It's leaking somewhere.

I also had some break fluid sipping down fro the ABS switch located next to the break fluid resevoir. I did not notice until I looked under the system. I just disconected the swith and the truck still stops fine and does not leak anymore.
