A friend at work just snapped his winch cable on his 4wheeler winch. He wants to upgrade it to a winch rope. Where is a good place to go? Im assuming that if they sell it for truck winches they will for little 4 wheelers too.

By "rope" do you mean the synthetic winch cable? (Because the wire cable is also called rope). If so, try http://www.rockstomper.com/ I got mine there, good price and they can make the exact length cable you want. I replaced my 100' with 90' on the winch and 50' extension.

I put it on my Honda 450ES after the cable snapped. I got it from a seller on ebay but cant seem to find who it was. Was something like $50 shipped to the house. Also be sure to put an aluminum fairlead on, anything else will wear at the rope.

Yes, im talking about the "rope" and NOT the "cable" that comes with every winch. I cant seem to find this "masterpull ebay guy. Anyone have a link?
