The Winches I am looking at are the Mile marker 10500 lb or 12000 lb models . I am told by PHIL that this is the winch of choice for the Mitsu crowd . I am also told that the Toyota and MItsubishi power steering pumps out put is less then mile markers recomended 1500 psi/ 3.5 gpm. Do you think this is a problem ? Does it make a 12000lb winch pull at say 10000 lbs .Any one running a up graded pump?

Sheesh, where's Lloyd? A Milemarker winch post is like a red flag for him! Anyone else have hydro winch/Mitsu/Toyota experiences to add? I might (read WILL) be depending on this winch (on his truck) to extract me when I've gone somewhere I shouldn't, and my winch is not enough...

Kary has a MM on his Montero, but he runs a chevy pump. I dont think the Mitsu pump would drop the rating, maybe just the speed.
Well on my way to becoming that eccentric old man in every town.(crazy as a s#@thouse rat) With a yard full of desireable old vehicles that tells you, Sorry they're not for sale..... Someday I'm going to fix them.

Heard from Lloyd earlier this evening. He just got back from the trip.
He said his MM had issues spooling the line out
He's not sure whats wrong. He'll be taking his into the shop.
